Hi all,
I recently got an iPhone and have been downloading some games and things. I was browsing the games portion of the apple vis app directory and I found two games that kind of interested me. Baby adopter and little Girl Magic. both games you can adopt, name and care for a baby or a little girl. I tried those apps and I kind of have trouble using them with voiceover. My question is is there any games that kind of operate on the same principals as the games I mentioned above? If so, what are they so I can look them up. Thanks in advance,
Leslie
You got the right board, but you got a lousy title.
Lol I know. I couldn't think of anything better. :P
Lol it's ok no big deal on the title thing. I can understand totally why you chose it. :)
I've played baby adopter and little girl magic and I have voice over. Unless they've updated it considerably different from before, the trick with using it with voice over is to make sure you do a full sweep with your finger from left to right or right to left depending on if you want to go forward or backwards. You then have to double tap on whatever the selection you are making is.
I hope that this helps. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask! :)
thank you. I've just downloaded baby adopter and it works. The only problem I have is with little girl magic. The only thing I have trouble with is adopting. I tap on the empty list thing, but it doesn't do anything. Thanks for the help,
Leslie
Hmm, I'm actually not sure wy it won't let you adopt a little girl.. I think you have to tap on anything that says image on it or something like that. I honestly can't remember though.
I have played little girl magic and have finished buying all the furniture and toys. However, after I buy a toy, the little girl can't seem to play with it. Also, is there some way I can start the game over again" Uninstalling and reinstalling the ap doesn't work.
I thought there was a reset option somewhere, but can't remember. I haven't played any of the adopter games in a very long time. I got bored with them. There is a game similar to those nanos. It's called Hatchi. Same concept as the nano toy, just adopt a pet, take care of it by keeping it clean, fed and happy, then release it into the wild when it's fully-grown. Can't recall if it's free or not.
Those adopt a kid games should make your phone poop its case, cry, puke all over your night stand or pocket, bite you, and pull your hair. This would be a better simulation of the parts of parenting people don't talk about.
There is a reset button in baby adopter, but I didn't find one in little girl magic.
Haha Leo! I think my sister would say the same thing.
Yes and also screaming in the middle of the night and making sure that it does not shut up when you double tap the calm down button.
It should stop randomly in terms of when it gets calmer. That would be a realistic game! Lol
And the Adopt-a-teenager should spend your money on random things on the iPhone app store, clutter your home screen with occasional if useless trinkets, rearrange your apps and change the theme.
It could also become extremely ideological and opinionated on things you had never heard of before, and insist the entire iPhone comply with its wishes.
It would shut the phone down at 1 A.M. and would refuse to let the phone wake up till at least noon, then start making noise until you fed it.
Oh, and it will refuse to come out and start if it thinks the other apps are watching, because it wouldn't want to be embarrassed, you see.
If there was ever a game that actually did that, i wouldn't download it, lol!
Leo, good Ideas! I love it! I think those would be cool.
Every parent would install these on their kids' phones, just so the kids can see how the other half lives.
Leo, that actuably is a good idea. And as far as adoption goes, Godville does fit. You adopt a hero, you watch over it, but the beauty of that game is you don't have to do the work.
Hahaha Leo! Agree 100%! This, sir, is why I do not wish to have kids, though I know for some parenting is a very rewarding role to be in.
